Wild food at the centre
The pickup container is built for wild food and its preserves. Local producers fit alongside, with cold chain, payments, and food safety compliance handled automatically regardless of product type.
- Foraged products: berries, mushrooms, wild herbs, frozen goods (-18 °C)
- Game and wild fish: moose, deer, forest fowl, perch, pike, vendace (0-2 °C)
- Wild-food preserves: jams, conserves, dried products, herb salts
- Local producers alongside: artisan drinks, baked goods, farm products
The Oulu pilot, summer 2026
The first Willit Pickup Container opens in Oulu in summer 2026. The pilot is being designed with producers, local designers, and commercial partners, and its goal is to prove the concept in practice: how the container works, customer flow, producer onboarding, the cold chain, and food safety compliance, all in one package.
- Located in Oulu, exact site to be confirmed with the partner
- Visual identity built around a Nordic nature theme and the Willit brand
- Producer mix drawn from foragers, hunters, fishers, and wild-food processors, with local artisans and fresh-food entrepreneurs alongside
- Lessons from the pilot feed directly into the next container locations
- Interested producers and site partners can sign up to take part now
